Whichever type of membership you choose, you’ll have unlimited access to our training gym, and you can attend as many group fitness classes as you like – live classes or virtual Les Mills classes.

New gym members are offered a free assessment with one of our personal trainers, who’ll design you a personalised personal training programme, and also chat about nutrition. Your personalised programme will consider your goals, training experience, injuries, and so on.
Your free initial personal training programme is developed after you’ve had your assessment and orientation. During this session, your personal trainer will take you through the programme and show you around the gym. They’ll make sure you know how to use the machines, and the best techniques to use.
This is all covered in one session, and the personal training programme is yours to keep. If you outgrow your personal training programme, contact one of our personal trainers to update it. Note that additional personal training sessions and programmes are at additional cost.
Your Community Fitness Kerikeri gym membership includes free child minding. This is available 9am to 10.30am, Monday to Friday.
The child minding service is suitable for babies through to children of four years of age.
No booking is required.

As you’d expect, we have facilities such as showers and lockers free for members and day pass holders to use.
There are no contracts at Community Fitness and no cancellation fees. See us at reception or give us a call to let us know you’re cancelling and then simply stop your AP. Note that you will have to repay the start fee if you would like to re-join in the future.
The minimum age for gym floor training and a full gym membership is 14 years old. However, if you’re really keen but not quite there yet, don’t despair: we have a few options available for our juniors. Kids 12 years or older can do most of our Group Fitness classes (with the exception of BodyPump & SPRINT) but parents/caregivers do need to train with them. We also offer afternoon kids and teen classes that cater for ages 6 to 13 – see our gym timetable for details.
Your Kerikeri gym membership can be suspended when you go on holiday for up to 6 weeks in a 12- month period. Simply let us know when you’re going away, pop your AP on hold, and then restart when you get back. If medical issues are preventing you from training then please get in touch with us to talk about your options!

Got my self registered just after my first trial. I was amazed how busy and loud it wad at 6am. Hats off to all the elders who are working out early in the morning setting an example to the younger generation. Friendly and helpful and got all those vibes makes you feel like going there again. And what makes me so much attached to the Community Fitness is "IT IS A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION" and I am so proud to be a part of this community.. Well done Kerikeri ✌️
